Role: HR Executive – People Operations (Remote)
About the Role
We’re looking for an HR Executive to support and take ownership of day-to-day HR operations and recruitment in a growing, fast-paced environment.
This role will work closely with the HR Manager and play a key role in keeping HR processes running smoothly across our Sri Lankan, Philippines, and Melbourne teams.
If you have hands-on HR experience and enjoy working with people, solving problems, and bringing structure to day-to-day operations, this role offers strong exposure and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment coordination (screening, scheduling, communication, and follow-ups)
- Maintain structured candidate pipelines and support hiring processes
- Handle HR operations including contracts, employee records, HR systems, and documentation
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Respond to employee queries and handle day-to-day HR matters professionally
- Coordinate with internal teams across departments and time zones
- Identify gaps in processes and suggest practical improvements
- Support performance management processes and HR initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or HR operations
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal English)
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Practical understanding of HR processes (recruitment, administration, employee handling)
- Confidence in handling professional communication with candidates and internal teams
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Zoho HR tools, HR Partner, ClickUp)
- Experience supporting international teams
Additional Details
- Fully remote role
- Work with an international team (Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Melbourne)
- Working hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Sri Lanka time)
- Salary: LKR 80,000 – 120,000 (based on experience)
