Role: Operations Support Consultant – Remote


About the Role

We are an Australian staffing company seeking a reliable Operations Support Consultant (After Hours) to support our Recruitment and Allocations team.

This is a fast-paced, operational role where you will act as the key point of contact after hours, handling calls and emails, allocating candidates to shifts, filling urgent vacancies, and maintaining accurate system records.

Strong English communication skills and the ability to stay organised under pressure are essential. This is a fully remote role, working from home while supporting Australian operations.


Working Schedule

  • Monday & Friday: 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM AEST (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM Sri Lanka Time)
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM AEST (6:30 PM – 1:30 AM Sri Lanka Time)
  • Flexibility required to cover additional shifts when needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to phone calls and emails from candidates and clients in a professional manner
  • Allocate candidates to shifts based on client requirements and availability
  • Fill vacant shifts by contacting available candidates
  • Create placements and update client and candidate records in internal systems
  • Complete candidate confirmations for client rosters
  • Ensure the database is accurate and consistently up to date
  • Assist recruiters with reference checks and document follow-ups
  • Complete tasks and email requirements in a timely and organised manner
  • Provide overall operational support to the Recruitment and Allocations team

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (essential)
  • Previous experience in administration, operations support, customer support, or similar roles
  • Confident and professional phone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with systems, databases, and basic reporting
  • Flexible and dependable, especially for after-hours support

Requirements

  • Own laptop or desktop computer (camera required)
  • Second monitor
  • Reliable internet connection with backup (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
  • Backup power solution
  • Available to start immediately

  • Competitive pay: LKR 60,000 – 100,000 per month (hourly basis, depending on experience and hours worked)
