We are an Australian company in search of a dedicated Operations Support Consultant (After Hours) to join our team in Colombo. Role
As an Operations Support Consultant at Chandler Personnel, you will be integral in supporting our Australian operations. Your responsibilities will focus on data entry, data analysis, and general administrative tasks to enhance our efficiency and effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage Virtual Reception: Handle inbound calls and emails professionally and courteously.
- Conduct Daily Data Entry: Input and update data accurately to ensure our databases are current.
- Assist with Reporting: Generate daily reports on operational metrics to support decision-making.
- Support Inductions: Assist with onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Maintain Databases: Ensure that client and candidate records are consistently updated and accurate.
- Provide Administrative Support: Assist with various tasks to help streamline team operations.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with the Recruitment and Allocations team to ensure effective communication and processes.
Work Schedule
- Workdays: Sunday, Monday, and Friday are required workdays, along with two additional weekdays of your choice (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).
- Shift Structure: This is a rotating roster role. You will be scheduled for up to 40 hours per week, across one or more of the following shift blocks:
Weekday Shifts (AEST)
- 4:45 PM – 12:00 AM
- 4:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend Shifts (AEST)
- 4:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Rosters are published two weeks in advance.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in administrative support, data entry, or similar roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A friendly and professional phone manner.
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a willingness to learn new software.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends.
Requirements
- Own laptop (or a desktop computer with a camera) plus a second monitor.
- Backup power systems/Wi-Fi data to accommodate potential outages.
- Must be ready to get started As Soon As Possible.
