Operations Support Consultant (After Hours)

About the Role
We are an Australian staffing company looking for a reliable
Operations Support Consultant (After Hours) to support our Recruitment
and Allocations team.
This role is operational and fast-paced. You will be the key point of contact after hours,
handling calls and emails, allocating candidates to shifts, filling urgent vacancies,
and keeping our systems up to date.
Strong English communication skills and the ability to stay organised under pressure
are essential. This is a remote role, working from home, supporting Australian operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to phone calls and emails from candidates and clients in a professional manner
- Allocate candidates to shifts based on client requests and availability
- Fill vacant shifts by contacting available candidates
- Create placements and update client and candidate records in our systems
- Complete candidate confirmations for client rosters
- Ensure the database is accurate and kept up to date at all times
- Assist Recruiters with reference checks and document follow-ups
- Complete tasks and email requirements in a timely and organised manner
- Provide overall operational support to the Recruitment and Allocations team
Work Schedule
Working days: Saturday and Sunday are mandatory, plus three weekdays of your choice
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Roster: Rotating shifts, published two weeks in advance
Weekday Shifts (AEST):
- 4:45 PM – 12:00 AM
- 4:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend Shifts (AEST):
- 4:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Skills and Experience
- Exceptional written and verbal English (must have)
- Previous experience in administration, operations support, recruitment support, or a similar role
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with systems, databases, and basic reporting
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends

- Own laptop or desktop computer (camera required)
- Second monitor
- Reliable internet connection with backup Wi-Fi or data
