We are an Australian staffing company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Support Consultant to support our growing operations team.

In this role, you will be the key point of contact for day-to-day operational activities. You will handle calls and emails, allocate candidates to shifts, fill urgent vacancies, and ensure our systems and records are accurately maintained.

This is a core operational role within the business. You will work on a rotating roster that ensures continuous coverage for Australian operations. The role requires flexibility across shifts and is best suited to candidates who are able to treat this as their primary, full-time role.

Strong English communication skills and the ability to remain organised under pressure are essential. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position supporting Australian operations in a fast-paced, responsibility-driven environment where reliability, availability, and clear professional communication are critical.


Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to phone calls and emails from candidates and clients in a professional manner
  • Allocate candidates to shifts based on client requirements and candidate availability
  • Fill vacant shifts by proactively contacting available candidates
  • Create placements and update client and candidate records in internal systems
  • Complete candidate confirmations for client rosters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the database
  • Assist Recruiters with reference checks and document follow-ups
  • Complete operational tasks and email requirements in a timely and organised manner
  • Provide general operational support to the Recruitment and Allocations team

Working Schedule

Hours:
40 hours per week (hourly paid)

Working Days:
5 days per week, Monday to Sunday

Roster Structure:
Rotating roster, published two weeks in advance to support forward planning and work–life balance.


Availability & Scheduling

This role offers a range of working hours, with shifts allocated based on individual availability and preferences within a shared team roster. Scheduling is managed in advance to ensure consistent team coverage while supporting predictable and sustainable working arrangements.

Shift Times (AEDT)

Weekday Shifts:

  • 4:45 PM – 12:00 AM
  • 4:00 AM – 8:30 AM
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekend Shifts:

  • 4:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal English (must have)
  • Previous experience in administration, operations support, customer support, or a similar role
  • Confident and professional phone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with systems, databases, and basic reporting tools

  • Reliable internet connection with backup Wi-Fi or mobile data

  • Available to start ASAP
